Aughnacloy man told officers he ‘didn’t have time to get insurance’

A Lithuanian national has been fined by East Tyrone Magistrates Court for using a motor vehicle without insurance.

Nikolaj Mikitiuk, 31, of Moore Street, Aughnacloy was charged with the offence in relation to an incident on February 17th this year.

A court heard how police were on patrol on Monaghan Road, Aughnacloy when they stopped Mr Mikitiuk driving a Fiat Punto.
