BREAKING: Female employee injured in Cabragh filling station robbery


A woman has been injured in an armed robbery at a filling station in Cabragh last night, Thursday.

The victim, who was working there at the time, was threatened and detained by three masked men, one armed with a firearm.

The men then fled the scene following the incident at the Ballygawley Road premises at around 10.30pm.

Appealing for information about the robbery, a PSNI spokesman said: “Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and Detective Inspector Will Tate would ask for anyone who noticed a dark coloured car or any suspicious activity in the area between 10pm and 11pm, or anyone with any information to contact detectives at Cookstown on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
