The brother of a Dungannon woman who passed away suddenly last night has said saying goodbye to his only sister, Eimear O’Neill, was the “hardest thing to do”.
Conleth McKenna, who is known locally as ‘Kicker’ has described her as “beautiful” and a “true young lady” who was “loved by many friends up and down the country”.
Aged just 37, it is understood Eimear, whose maiden name was McKenna, was discovered at home by her husband Kieran.
Police said they received a report of the sudden death of a 37-year-old female at Seyloran Lane, Moy on the evening of January 4, but that the death is not believed to be suspicious.
It is understood Eimear’s sudden passing came just hours after she had attended a wake in Dungannon.
Many have taken to Facebook to pay tribute to the young woman, who has been portrayed as “salt of the earth” who “was always full of smiles”.
Her brother Kicker said: “I had to do the most hardest thing to do this evening and that was to say goodbye to my one and only lovely beautiful sister Eimear, who was a true young lady and was loved by her family and many friends up and down the country of Ireland she will be so sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing my sister.
“RIP my beautiful sister Eimear. I love you and miss you xxx”
