The A29 from Dungannon to Armagh will be closing for almost two weeks in April to facilitate a £150k upgrade scheme according to Transport Minister Michelle McIlveen.
Diversions will be in place from April 4-11 and again from April 18-22.
Minister McIlveen said she hopes all works along the stretch of road will be completed within six weeks - weather permitting.
“The provision of a right turn lane here (Lislay Road junction) will improve road safety,” she said.
A one-way closure from Dungannon to Armagh on the above dates was considered necessary to complete the works safely, but the road will be open between those times.
Further information on the works is available on the Traffic Watch NI website.
