Coalisland Fianna Runners brought a burst of blue to Dublin when they took part in the recent Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon.
In all, nineteen members of the club travelled to the city for the event which was held for the third year running and attracted some 5,000 participants.
The race began at The Point Village, and took in sights such as the Saint James Guinness Brewery and the Museum of Modern Art.
The Coalisland Fianna club members walked and ran their way to the finish line and were congratulated by their supporters at the end of the race.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon originated in 1998 in San Diego, CA and now visits more than 30 cities annually, including Las Vegas, Chicago, Nashville, Washington DC, Madrid and Mexico City. Live bands, cheer teams and high-energy volunteer groups line the streets to lend their support.
