The Education Minister is to announce the creation of 26 new nursery places at Primate Dixon Primary School in Coalisland.
Speaking about the decision, Agriculture Minister Michelle O’Neill said: “I am delighted for Primate Dixon PS today as Minister John O’Dowd confirms 26 new nursery places for the school.
“After some months of campaigning the school has been successful in achieving its goal of additional places to enhance an already first class nursery provision within the school,” she added.
“This development will complement the excellent nursery provision in the Coalisland/Clonoe area and I am delighted to see that the education minister has listened to the needs of the school and responded with a positive outcome.
“Thanks to all in the community for supporting the school’s and our combined efforts to secure these places over the last few years.”
