Over 100 P5, P6 and P7 pupils at Coalisland’s Primate Dixon Primary School took on ‘Rising-1916!’ for this year’s Annual Orchestra Performance Day at Primate Dixon.
Playing set pieces in unison on over 100 instruments, ranging from violin, viola, cello and double bass, the children have been commended by their very proud teachers and parents.
“Beautiful readings and singing filled with emotion from the girls and boys also,” said the school on Facebook.
“Well done to everyone who performed today, it was just great to see and hear so many of our children taking part! This kind of large group music project is only made possible with the support of many people at home and in school. A sincere thank you to everyone who helped in any way in making the production the success that it was. Go raibh math agaibh go léir.”
