Detectives are appealing for information after reports that one man was stabbed another injured in an incident along the M1 to Ballygawley on Wednesday, May 25.
Police said they received a report shortly after 4pm that a van driver had parked his vehicle in a layby just past a service station on the M1 (in the direction of Ballygawley), when another vehicle parked in front of him.
One of the occupants of this second van was then reported to have gotten out and assaulted two of the three male occupants of the first van.
It is believed one of the injured men had stab wounds to his arm and back, while the second victim received scratches to his arm and hand.
Detective Constable Paula McGale is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who has any information about it to contact detectives on the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, anyone who would prefer to provide information without giving their details, can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
