Detectives are appealing for help to trace a gang of men suspected of a number of incidents from Dungannon to Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning [Oct 1].
Three cars - reportedly involved in a number crimes - were stolen from homes in Aghalee and Lurgan while it was reported that a number of males were acting suspiciously in the Tamnamore Close area of Dungannon and that a number of items were reported stolen from a car.
Police also said three men were disturbed trying to enter a garage in the Broadwater Mews area of Aghalee and that they are investigating a possible link between these incidents and incidents in Lurgan and Belfast.
Shortly after midnight it was reported that a house in the Kiln Lodge area of Lurgan was entered and an Audi stolen.
The car was then involved in a collision at Moira roundabout a short time later and shortly before 3am it was reported that a Vauxhall had been stolen in a creeper style burglary in the Chestnut Hill Road area of Lurgan.
This car was later recovered by Police in the Knockramer Meadows area of Lurgan, where a Skoda Fabia reportedly taken before being driven into shutters at a shop in Donegall Place damaging the front of the shop around 6am - It is not yet known if anything was stolen.
The Skoda Fabia was recovered a short time later in the Bread Street area of west Belfast.
Detective Inspector Will Tate is appealing for anyone with any information about these incidents to contact Detectives at Lurgan Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
