Dungannon man caught drink driving after police spotted him crossing white lines

A Dungannon man has been banned from the road for eighteen months after admitting to drink driving.

Donatas Paulauskas, 29, from Lambfield Drive, was detected on Killyman Road on February 14 by police who were following him.

The watched as his car crossed the central white lines on several occasions. He later provided a breath sample over twice the limit.

District Judge John Meehan handed down a fine of £200 before ordering that on completion of the drink driver’s course he would permit a 25 per cent reduction in the 18 month driving disqualification.
