The ladies of Soroptomist International of Dungannon will be delighted to serve you afternoon tea at £5 per person.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Mid Ulster Women’s Aid.
Sarah Carroll President of SI Dungannon said: “We are particularly pleased to continue to be associated with Mid Ulster Women’s Aid as its core aims and objectives reflect those of our world-wide organisation providing a global voice for women with an aim to educate, empower and enable women.
“The translation of Soroptimism means ‘The best of sisters’ and we endeavour to carry out this theme by supporting women and girls throughout the world.
“Mid-Ulster Women’s Aid is a voluntary organisation which provides support, information and accommodation for women, children and young people who have or are experiencing domestic and/or sexual violence.
“Amongst the many services available it provides nine family units in its refuge to accommodate women and their children leaving an abusive relationship.”
Sarah added: “MUWA supports up to 70 women to live independently in the community as well as 20 children on a one-to-one basis.
“We are hoping that as many people as possible will support our fund-raiser.
“We look forward to seeing you there,” urged the president.
