Boxing Day was a busy one in the world of law and order, as Dungannon officers reported having dealt with a total of 33 calls or reported offences.
As well as three domestic incidents they policed the Moy Hunt, attended to six counts of disorderly and anti-social behaviour, made three drink-driving arrests, dealt with three reports of assault, one concern for safety, a theft, possession of an offensive weapon, three reports of criminal damage, one breach of bail, one fuel drive-off and made two licensed premises checks.
And following the stop and search of a vehicle on the Moy Road, Dungannon, officers went on to search the driver’s home - where items including £2,500 worth of suspected cannabis, mobile phones and drugs paraphernalia were seized.
PSNI Dungannon also reported seven abandoned calls.
“In total there were seven arrests, and crews are now busy this morning interviewing some of the detained persons, taking the others to Court, etc,” they said on December 28.
