Police have arrested a second man who they say is currently ‘assisting police with their enquiries’ following a serious RTC on the Brackaville Road outside Coalisland on Tuesday (20 January).
The first male who was arrested following the accident yesterday where a pedestrian was struck by a car, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The Brackaville Road outside Coalisland was closed for a time following the accident on Tuesday and the pedestrian who was knocked down was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
Police have reiterated their appeal for information. They are particularly keen to speak to a motorist who stopped Police as this person may be able to help with their enquiries.
The number to call is the non-emergency 101 number.
