A man has been arrested in Dungannon after reports of an assault that left another man needing seven stitches in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is understood that the victim was taken to hospital where a cut to his head was treated after the alleged attack on the Oaks Road.
PSNI Dungannon said: “We received a report of an assault in the early hours of this morning.
“The victim was taken to hospital where they received seven stitches to their head.
“One of the crews arrested the suspect on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) and they are currently being interviewed in the custody suite.”
He was later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
