Moy Cycling Club gearing up for Giro

A MOY cycling club is gearing up for a hectic schedule of events, as they prepare to host a delegation of visitors from Italy during the forthcoming Giro d’Italia.

Members of the Square Wheels CC, who hail from the Moy, Dungannon, Eglish, Killyman, Clonmore and Armagh areas - will be helping to turn the village Square into a sea of colour ready to greet their visitors, with support from Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council.

They will also be hosting a wine tasting event, sight seeing tours, as well as a gathering of local dignitaries including MP Michelle Gildernew, Mayor Sean McGuigan and other councillors from the area.

The TIMES caught up with Conal Hamill, Chair of Square Wheels CC, to find out more about the packed programme of events to mark the arrival in Northern Ireland of the world famous cycling race.
