If we were giving marks out of 10 for Halloween effort, then these two Mid Ulster homes come top of the horrifying pile.

The homeowners put on such a good show for Halloween, that one of the brains behind the terrorific decor said some kids were afraid to knock on the door while trick or treating.

Louise Cullen, who lives in Clonoe, goes all out each year for Halloween - but this year upped her game to include a graveyard in her front garden.

She said: "I just always loved Halloween and the theatrics of it, and its good to get everyone together for a party.

"The kids seem to enjoy it too, especially dressing up so the decor is just to set the mood."

But she said: "It might have been a bit too much for the wee ones!"

The Crawford family from Clonmore has also been turning heads with their efforts.

Mum Norah said her family put on a show at their home every year, but was astounded at the reaction to this year's Halloween video.

And Laghey Primary school pupil Abbey gave a star turn, as a very creepy looking dead doll.

We know who our Halloween winners are this year!
