Video: If Blair Witch scared you... forget taking a walk on Kinturk moss

Witches, zombies, ghosts and fairies alike are all invited to attend the freaky fun and scary shenanigans at Kinturk Centre on All Hallow’s Eve... but only the bravest are advised to walk the moss.

With promises of treats aplenty and most certainly a few scares, you’re sure to have a wailing good time.

Explore the specially designed hair-raising extreme ghost trail under the cloak of darkness, while coming face-to-face with some creepy critters as Kinturk Road is transformed into ‘Nightmare on Kinturk Street’.

But, since you will be scared and may experience a few ‘jumps’, visitors are advised to dress appropriately for an outdoor adventure.

“Watch out, behind every corner could lie a bump, a bang or an icy tap on the shoulder,” said a spokesperson.

Directed by the infamous Gerry Cunningham from More Power to Your Elbow, the spooktackular ghost trail is sure to get your blood pressure up with an alfresco twist across the mysterious murky moss.

“It guarantees a series of frighteningly, spine-tingling, ghoulish surprises,” said organiser Roisin Egan.

Kinturk Centre will also be transformed into a fun, haunted centre with a variety of entertainment for all the family, apple bobbing, kid friendly ghost trails, story telling, disco as well as delicious festive fayre.

And the evening will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display at 9.30pm.

So dust off your broomsticks and dress up your kids to make this Hallowe’en a memorable one at Kinturk Centre... if you dare!

Owing to the intense nature of the Ghostly Trail of the Banshee, it is recommended for over 16’s only.

All under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
