There is a packed programme of groups and activities available at Clonroe Community Centre for the autumn season.
Whether you want to learn how to dance, try out martial arts, learn to snap the perfect photograph, or get fit and healthy, there is something for everyone at the local centre.
Clonoe Community Centre will be a veritable dancing academy for the autumn with a diverse range of dancing available for all ages.
Feetbeat Dance which is in the capable hands of two experienced dance instructors have been busy this year and have returned from the World Dance Masters in Blackpool with yet another string of awards and accolades. Classes recommence on Thursday 8 from 7pm for juniors- Beginner kids (4-15 years) 7-8pm
Advanced kids 8-9pm and Monday 5 from 8pm for seniors Beginner adults (16+) 8-9pm. Advanced 9-10:30pm. Feet beat dance offers numerous classes to cater for all ages, solos, partners and teams. Specialising in modern linedance, Cha-Cha, hip-hop, funky, Polka, Waltz, and much more.
The Lynda Wright School of Dance specialises in Ballet/Tap/Modern classes in the centre for girls and boys aged 4 upwards following the BDTA exam system.
Lynda, an experienced dance teacher and choreographer has been teaching for over 20 years and has other successful classes in the area with some of her pupils following in her footsteps now working in the dance business.
Classes start on Wednesday 7, with an Information and Registration Day for new pupils on Wednesday September 28 3.30-5pm.
The O’Neill Academy of Irish Dance also returns with classes from September. Classes are for boys and girls aged 4 and upwards both in solo and figure dancing, from beginner to open level.
JD Dance will also have classes (Solo Style, Hiphop, Street and commercial with modern jazz classes in the near future with grading if desired) on Monday 4.45-7.45pm with Jessica Devlin who been professionally trained in all styles of solo style dance, which include Waltz, Latin, American smooth, Westcoast, country lilts, Swing, Hip-hop and Street and competed in many competitions throughout the world and have attained All Ireland and European titles. Classes start on Monday September 12.

There are also Jiving classes with Dan Nelson, who is well known on the social dancing circuit, beginning on Monday September 19 8:45-9:45pm. The classes cost £5 per person.
Mixed Martial Arts are back on Tuesday September 6 from 6-7 pm for boys/girls from age 5 upwards.

If you fancy something less energetic, the Crochet and Chat group resumes on Tuesday October 4 at 7pm.
If you want to knit and natter you will be most welcome although the primary focus will be on crocheting.
The group are pleased to welcome along a new tutor who will be able to able to assist with both.
Clonoe Camera Club meets every second Thursday at 8pm.

There is still time to register for The Biggest Loser – a community health and fitness programme.
Activities will change each week regarding days but everyone will know well in advance.
There will be a free day in the gym every Sunday for all participants.
