Students and teachers at the Royal School in Dungannon played their part in fundraising for charity through a recent event.
Explaining what took place on this occasion, a spokesperson for the Royal School said:
“On Friday 13 November the pupils of The Royal School Dungannon raised money for Children in Need through a non-uniform day, with each pupil donating £1 for the privilege of not wearing uniform.
“Additional funds were raised through a Sixth Form Big Breakfast event, kindly sponsored by Cookstown Meats, as well as a bun sale and a ‘guess the number of sweets in the jar’ competition.
“The total raised so far is well in excess of £1000. Well done to everyone involved.”
The school spokesperson issued a message of thanks to all those who had donated on the day, as well as to their sponsor.
