Police are treating the death of a 32-year-old man whose body was discovered in a garage near Coalisland as murder.
The news comes after the results of a post mortem examination and a murder investigation has now been opened.
The man’s body was found in a garage in the Moor Road area on Thursday, 15 October.
Detectives are continuing to investigate a possible link between his murder and another incident in Coalisland on Wednesday, October 14 when a man is reported to have been assaulted and shot in the leg.
Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison, who is leading the murder investigation said: “If anyone saw anything unusual in the Moor Road area of Coalisland in recent days we would like them to contact Detectives at Dungannon police station by calling the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
