A Dungannon man now living in Australia, has told how the miracle birth of his identical triplet daughters was “like winning the lottery three times over”.

Bryan Donnelly, whose father owned a popular butcher’s shop in Irish Street in the town for many years, and his wife Pip welcomed the beautiful little ladies into the world on November 15 at only 29 weeks.

Pioneering life-saving surgery was performed on the babies while they were in their mother’s womb after doctors discovered one was sharing her blood with the others, putting the lives of all three babies in danger.
